Does Slime Rancher 2 Have Multiplayer?

SatyPardus encourages users to also join the mod's dedicated Discord so that they can report bugs and have them resolved as they pop up. However, this is only for "Slime Rancher" and not the early access "Slime Rancher 2."
Fans could develop something similar for "Slime Rancher 2" in the future, even if there's nothing available yet. In any case, multiplayer seems like it'll likely come from fans instead of the developers themselves.
