Though the President's daughter and frequent kidnapping victim might have been described as mouse-like by gamers before, this is the first time the mainstream has decided to conceptualize Ashley as an actual mouse — AKA Mouseley. Thanks to a Twitter post shared on March 24, 2023, with over 3 million views and tens of thousands of engagements, the trend of designing Ashley as a tiny little rodent has taken off.

Clearly a cheesy take on an otherwise horror-focused title, the reimagining of Ashley as a mouse is giggle-inducing for sure. The rest isn't up to the imagination, as the fan created a humorous comic featuring a kitschy, cartoonish Mouseley with quotes including "help me Leon" and "I crave cheese Leon."
