Xbox Super Game Sale Knocks Up To 70% Off Popular Games

Are you more of an Xbox One fan than a PC gamer? If so, you finally have a sale for the summer that won't quite stand up to what Steam had to offer, but comes pretty darn close.

The Xbox Super Game Sale kicks off today, slashing prices on a host of popular Xbox One titles. There are far too many to list, so if we don't mention something you like here, you can always check out the full sale for yourself over on Microsoft's website. Here, at least, are the highlights.

Rage 2 is down to $38.99 just a few months after launch. It's not the deepest game in the world, but if you want fast-paced action and fun abilities, Rage 2 definitely has those in droves.

Forza Horizon 4 may just be the best racing game out right now, and since Microsoft isn't pushing a new Forza title out this year, it'll continue to receive new content and updates. You can pick it up today for $29.99.

The Division 2 is knee deep in new content with more expansions on the way. That makes the game's sale price — $32.99 — very attractive to those who want this shared-world shooter at a fraction of its normal cost.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is still not being discounted too heavily; today's $40.19 price tag isn't all that different from what we've seen in past sales. Still, this is the kind of gaming experience that only comes along once every few years. You shouldn't miss it.

NieR: Automata: BECOME AS GODS is the original game plus all of the DLC, and right now, you can nab it for just $26.79. This is a game with around 26 different endings and loads of replayability. Give it a shot.

Capcom means business in this sale. Both Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5 are priced down to $35.99. Both games received rave reviews, and we can't recall seeing either game lower than they are right now.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is just flat-out massive, which makes paying $30 for it a steal. And if you happen to run out of things to do? There's a whole year of DLC you can purchase separately to keep your adventures going.

And finally, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. We've now reached the point where this gem of a title is selling for just $19.79, and at that price, there's absolutely no reason to pass on it any longer.

The Xbox Super Game Sale is set to run until July 29, so if you need to break open the piggy bank to start stockpiling games, now's the time to find the hammer.
