Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Check Out The Game's Latest Trailer From TGS
Have you been dying to get another look at Final Fantasy 7 Remake? The game itself doesn't come out until next year, but Square Enix just showed off a new, nearly three-minute-long trailer at this week's Tokyo Game Show, and now we have that trailer queued up and ready to roll.
It's pretty stunning, isn't it?
Not to get too spoilery, but we're getting a look at more bad guys from the classic FF7, a view of how awesome our summons will be in the remake, and yeah, some more Cloud gawking at Aerith. Oh, and there's even a look at — okay, let's spoil this one — Don Corneo. We've known for quite a while now that the cross-dressing scene from the original Final Fantasy 7 is still being included in the remake. But in what looks to be a reimagining full of twists, we wouldn't be surprised if Square Enix approaches it in some other way.
Otherwise, you might not be too surprised by everything else you see in the trailer. The cinematics look amazing. The new battle system has the potential to be a lot of fun. But those are things we saw when Square Enix presented Final Fantasy 7 Remake during this year's E3. If you're tuning in to this latest look at the title, it's probably to try and pick out some of your favorite scenes from the original that have now been brought forward. And there are plenty of those to spot, so have at it.
While many will undoubtedly want to take a peek at the new footage, we still have to report that, sadly, Final Fantasy 7 Remake remains a PlayStation 4 exclusive. We'll be sure to update you if anything changes on that front. Until then, you might want to think about throwing some money at a PS4. The game looks that good.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake launches on March 3, 2020.
