Epic Games Store offering big Black Friday discounts

Black Friday has come early to the Epic Games Store. The digital storefront is offering up to 75% off over 80 games, including new releases like Borderlands 3.

Epic Games Store users can score savings on some of 2019's hottest games. You can purchase Obsidian Entertainment's The Outer Worlds for $44.99 (25% off). Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, the third-person survival game from Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Désilets, is available for $19.99 (50% off), and you can snag Borderlands 3 for $40.19 (33% off). Other notable discounts include:

  • Red Dead Redemption 2 – $47.99 (20% off)
  • Afterparty – $16.99 (15% off)
  • Rebel Galaxy Outlaw – $23.99 (20% off)

While Epic is offering some impressive discounts, especially for indie gamers and Ubisoft fans, the sale itself is a pain to sift through. Unlike Steam, you can't sort the titles based on specific filters; instead, the platform forces you to scroll through an endless, unordered list. Still, it's a small price to pay for up to 75% off your next game.

Make sure you don't wait too long to take advantage of these deals. The Epic Games Store Black Friday Sale runs from now through Dec. 2 at 8:00 a.m. PT.
