PlayStation Plus Games For December Announced

PlayStation Plus subscribers now have the list of games they can look forward to downloading in the month of December, and — good news — one of those games is really good! If you want to play what is, arguably, one of the best single-player shooter campaigns in recent memory, you'll get to do that next month thanks to PlayStation Plus. You'll also get to download a motocross title for your PlayStation 4. More on that one in a little bit.

Here's what PlayStation Plus has on tap for December.

Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2 isn't one of those games that people looked back on later and finally appreciated as a stellar game. Those who played it at launch knew it. The problem, unfortunately, was that Titanfall 2 wasn't near the financial success it deserved to be, leading Respawn Entertainment (which developed the title) to work on things like Apex Legends and, later, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. So it's not all bad.

Anyway, Titanfall 2 is very good and you should play it when it goes free on Dec. 3, 2019.

Monster Energy Supercross — The Official Videogame

When you see a title like Monster Energy Supercross — The Official Videogame, you know it's just as much about the licensing as it is the video game. Monster, the energy drink company, has its name front and center on this title. That does not usually bode well for reviews, and sure enough, this one rests at a Metacritic score of 67%. Forget most of the funky review scales; in school, you're not passing with a 67%.

They can't be all winners, though. But who knows: maybe you really like motocross games, no matter how bad they are. If that's the case, you'll be able to download Monster Energy Supercross — The Official Videogame on Dec. 3, 2019.
