How To Craft Medicine In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a fairly chill game. Your main focus is beautifying your island, chatting with your kooky animal neighbors, and paying off your crippling debt to Tom Nook. Paying your mortgage is leisurely too: Nook loans have no interest and you can repay them as slowly as you like. Island life is easy and breezy, but there are just a few dangers to keep in mind while exploring your new home.

Be wary while shaking trees. Usually, doing so will drop fruit, wood, and if you're lucky, random items. If you're unlucky, you'll disturb a wasp's nest. The moment the nest hits the ground, an angry swarm will burst out and chase you. If you're not quick enough with a net, this furious cloud of critters will brutally sting your face. You'll be left with a swollen eye and a rather dejected look. Get stung twice in one day and you'll find yourself fainting, sent home to recover. (Don't worry —you don't lose any items or progress.)

Your puffy face will shock your neighbors. They'll take pity on you and teach you a DIY recipe for medicine that will return your smarting cheeks to normal. Once you learn this recipe, you'll find it super easy to cure yourself. Making medicine is, like that aforementioned island life, a breeze. All you'll need is a wasp nest, which you should have considering it's the reason you got hurt in the first place, and three clumps of weeds. Weeds are just about everywhere; those little patches of clover and leafy greens will grow rampant if you don't snatch them up.

Once you have your wasp nest and three clumps of weeds, you can dash over to the nearest DIY tool bench (either your own or Tom Nook's) and craft your medicine. Upon taking it, you'll spin in a sparkly circle and be instantly cured! If only it worked like that in real life.
