All 25+ GTA 6 Side Activities Confirmed By Rockstar (So Far)

In August, the "GTA 6: An Extended Look" special gave us all a glimpse at the kinds of missions we'll be carrying out in "Grand Theft Auto 6." But let's be honest, most of us are just as excited to explore the game's fictional state of Leonida and see what sort of dynamic trouble we can get ourselves into. A huge part of the franchise's appeal has always been the side activities, with players being given the freedom to wander where they may and cause untold chaos in the process. For a long time, details about what side activities await in "GTA 6" were hard to come by. At this point, however, we have a pretty good idea about what to expect in that regard, and new details are emerging as we edge closer to the game's November 19, 2026 release date. Here's every side activity Rockstar Games has confirmed thus far.

"GTA 6: An Extended Look" showed multiple side activities including kayaking, parachuting, and fishing. Now, we've had confirmation from Rockstar (via GameInformer) of several others. The company officially confirmed that air boating, base jumping, billiards, gyms, jet skiing, mini golf, scuba diving, snorkeling, street and off-road racing, and zoos will all appear in the final game. That's plenty to keep us busy for the foreseeable future. But these are just the latest confirmed activities.

"GTA 6" is not only the biggest, most ambitious Rockstar game to date, it's the biggest, most ambitious game ever made — which is what you'd hope, given this thing has taken 13 years to materialize. As such, there are even more activities available in the game, most of which have been unveiled in trailers and the "Extended Look" special.

The folks over at IGN assembled a list of side activities based on the "GTA 6: An Extended Look" footage and their own preview of the game, which previously gave us new details about the wanted system in "GTA 6." According to the outlet, players will be able to embark on a pretty impressive night of debauchery as the final game will include gambling, nightclubbing, and being able to toss crisp dollar bills at exotic dancers.

More outdoorsy types can head out on a fishing trip, race dirt bikes, and even indulge in cave diving. You'll also be able to interact with animals in a variety of ways. Just like in Rockstar's "Red Dead Redemption 2," players can pet, feed, and "study" any beast they encounter, and there'll likely there'll be some sort of sighting list, à la the compendium in "RDR 2." Those less inclined to venture into the Leonida wilderness can relax by sunbathing or watching some TV. In the "Extended Look" presentation, we saw Jason Duval sitting in his apartment watching a commercial for a nauseating "Prairie Burger," but it's likely we'll see plenty more satirical ads and programs.

Otherwise, one of the more intriguing side activities in GTA 6 is backyard wrestling, which we saw briefly in the "Extended Look" special but which remains somewhat mysterious. Is there a fully-fledged backyard wrestling league, or is this part of a scripted mission? Either way, wrestling clearly forms part of the game. It also looks as though we'll be able to ride scooters, hit the shooting range, and play basketball, though again, how in-depth these features actually are remains unconfirmed. More details are sure to emerge as the official "GTA 6" release date draws closer.
