New Legend Of Zelda Amiibo Will Let You Rain Down Meat In Breath Of The Wild
A new line of Legend of Zelda amiibo has been revealed by Nintendo, showing us some of the interactions the figures will have with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The Nintendo of America Tumblr page was updated with the announcement that the Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary amiibo are now available in stores and can be used with the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Each amiibo will net players different items in the game, ranging from rupees to "a random amount of meat."
Rather than manna from heaven, Link can make it rain meat, fish, and plants when the proper amiibo is used with the game. Here's the breakdown of what each figure can do for you:
- 8-bit Link will reward you with a random number of barrels. You might find rupees inside too!
- Ocarina of Time Link will reward you with a random amount of meat.
- Toon Link will reward you with a random amount of fish.
- Wind Waker Zelda will reward you with a random selection of plants.
We still have some time until Breath of the Wild is released for the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch, but at least we can collect these amiibo in the meantime. Maybe we can even train up for the Defenders of the Triforce escape-the-room events while we're at it.
