New Mass Effect: Andromeda Trailer Shows Off Gameplay

The newest trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has debuted, showing off the game's character system and more.

The trailer was revealed during Nvidia's CES 2017 Keynote and features in-engine gameplay that's sure to get fans of the franchise drooling for more. It starts out with a look at the new ship, the Tempest, weaving its way through an asteroid field before finally landing on a planet that seems to be full of deserts and rocky, mountainous regions. We're given a look at the Pathfinder's skill trees and character profiles, which look to have plenty of customizable options to help players really fine tune their hero.

The description of the video says that Andromeda "puts you in the role of the Pathfinder; an elite soldier, explorer and guide tasked with finding humanity a new home in an uncharted galaxy." Judging by how the Pathfinder makes short work of the Remnant enemies in the trailer, we'd have to agree with the "elite soldier" bit.

Watch the trailer above and await Andromeda's release on March 21 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Pro, and Xbox One. It might be too early to say, but we're fairly sure this will become one of the biggest games of 2017.
