Resident Evil 7 Season Pass Content Revealed
Resident Evil 7's Season Pass content has been outlined, giving us a look at the DLC we can expect to see coming down the chute this year.
Vikki Blake of IGN reported that the Resident Evil 7 Season Pass page on Steam has been updated with the names of the content that will be made available through the Season Pass. There will be two volumes worth of DLC, along with an "Additional Story Episode."
The DLC seems to maintain the game's creepy VHS gimmick and will pop up as Banned Footage Vol. 1 and 2. The first volume features "Nightmare," "Bedroom," and "Ethan Must Die." Volume 2 includes "21," "Daughters," and "Jack's 55th Birthday."
We're not sure what kind of fate will befall our protagonist Ethan, but the "Ethan Must Die" content does not sound very promising. Jack, the patriarch of the disturbed Baker family, also celebrates his 55th birthday in Volume 2. We're confident that any guests they had over for dinner during that celebration did not enjoy the festivities.
The game proper will be released on Jan. 24 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, so you won't have to wait long to explore the horror. The listing for the Season Pass states that all of the Season Pass content will be made available by Dec. 31, so you can look forward to a year of gaming with Resident Evil 7, which is slated to become one of the biggest titles of 2017.
