Pokemon Go To Add More Generation 2 Pokemon
Pokemon Go might be gearing up to add even more Gen 2 Pokemon if the latest datamine is accurate.
Allegra Frank of Polygon reported on a datamine performed by The Silph Road that revealed some goodies hidden in the code of the new update. Here are some of their findings:

- 38 new moves have been added to the game, including Silver Wind, Aurora Beam, Bullet Seed and Dragon Tail.
- Evolution items like Sun Stone, Kings Rock, Metal Coat, Dragon Scale, and Upgrade have been added. These will likely be used to evolve Gloom, Slowpoke, Onix, Seadra, and Porygon into Bellossom, Slowking, Steelix, Kingdra, and Porygon2 respectively.
- "Forms" have been found, which likely point to the inclusion of the Unown Pokemon that take up different shapes and form an alphabet.
- A "News" section will be added to the in-game menu.
- Avatars will receive new customization options like belts, glasses, and necklaces.
- More Shiny Pokemon and Pokemon genders will be included.
Look forward to seeing more of your favorite Generation 2 Pokemon in the game, along with a number of additions that should improve your Pokemon-catching experience. If Niantic keeps pumping out updates like this, perhaps the app will see more use and make them even more money.
