League Of Legends' Practice Tool Is Live

League of Legends might be the most popular game in the world, but with over 130 different characters to choose from and millions of talented players online at all times, it can be a difficult game for newcomers to sink their teeth into. Thankfully, Riot Games has made it a little easier for both newbies and hardcore fans to master the game with its brand-new (and long awaited) Practice Tool.

Using the Practice Tool, League of Legends players can enter a private game and play with individual members of League of Legends' expansive roster in a risk-free environment. Using special settings, like an increased health or unlimited gold, players can tailor the extremely flexible Practice Tool to their specific needs, letting them master sections of the game that are giving them trouble.

For example, players can work on farming creeps—low-powered minions that can be killed for gold and experience—by locking their characters' levels at one and making enemy turrets invincible, basically keeping the game from progressing beyond a match's earliest stages. Other unique features include the ability to transport to any point on the map instantly, fast-forward capabilities, and a training dummy that shows you how much damage you're doing but can't be killed.

League of Legends is, of course, the top title in the quickly growing esports scene and one of the most widely-played games ever made. Last year, 14.3 million fans watched the final match of the League of Legends World Championships, with over 43 million unique viewers tuning in at some point during the end-of-year tournament. Over 100 million people play League of Legends every month, and if you want to beat them, you'll probably need to practice—and avoid these simple mistakes.
