Experience

Gabran spent his formative years with a controller in hand, charging through any game he could rent from the local Hollywood Video. Since 2021, he's been writing professionally about games and the gaming industry, with publications such as GameRant, FilmDaily, Destructoid, Looper, SlashGear, and SVG. In 2019, Gabran's poetry was included in the "Iowa's Best Emerging Poets" anthology. When he's not writing about the latest gaming news or crafting his own poems, he's usually in front of another screen playing something that's a few decades old.

Education

Gabran graduated with honors from the University of Iowa, earning a bachelor's degree in English and creative writing, with minors in rhetoric, theater, and gender studies.
