Experience

Gabran spent his formative years with a controller in hand, charging through any game he could rent from the local Hollywood Video. Since 2021, he's been writing professionally about games and the gaming industry, and sites like GameRant, FilmDaily, Destructoid, Looper, and SVG have published his work. When he's not writing about the latest gaming news, he's usually in front of another screen playing something that's a few decades old. In 2019, Gabran's poetry was included in Z Publishing House's "Iowa's Best Emerging Poets" anthology.

Education

Gabran graduated with honors from the University of Iowa. His major was in English and creative writing, and he had minors in rhetoric, theater, and gender studies.
