By BRITTANY ALVA
Although Black Friday doesn’t officially start until November 25, 2022, many early sales will give PlayStation fans a reason to rejoice this season. Everything from consoles to membership plans have already gone on sale or have upcoming deals, with many major retailers and the PlayStation Store providing a plethora of offers.
Walmart periodically releases batches of the console and offers a “God of War Ragnorok” bundle for $559, while Amazon sends out emails when the consoles are on sale and has a “Horizon Forbidden West” bundle. Best Buy sells a digital PS5 console and Backbone combo and offers a console bundle deal with three games, including “Demon Souls.”
Shoppers can save 40% to 60% on sports games like “Madden NFL 23” and “FIFA 23” on the PlayStation Store, while games like “Horizon Forbidden West” and “Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart” will also be discounted on the platform. Gamers can also get “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy” for 25% off on Amazon and “Sonic Frontiers” for 33% less from GameStop.
PlayStation accessories will also be on sale; DualSense controllers will be $50 from the PlayStation Store and other retailers like Amazon and Target. Other accessories like the Charging Station and headsets will also be discounted, and for racing game fans, Amazon has the Logitech Feedback Racing Wheel and Responsive Pedals for half-off.
Black Friday is the perfect time to pick up membership deals, as a yearly subscription for PS Plus is 25% off, which can give players access to games on PlayStation Plus Premium. There are also tons of virtual item packs and currency on sale for games like “Overwatch 2”; players can also pick up discounted expansion packs for games like “The Sims 4.”
