How Long Does It Take To Beat Pokémon Scarlet And Violet
By ERIK PETROVICH
“Pokémon Scarlet” and “Violet,” the newest additions to the series, were released for the Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022, and with them comes an open world to explore. The game features three main storylines, alongside its expansive world, which has led some to speculate on whether the latest installment will be among the longest in the series.
The storylines of “Scarlet” and “Violet” include the traditional Gym Leaders-Elite Four story, a narrative that sees players take on Team Star and the Path of Legends, which tasks players with defeating all the Titan Pokémon. None of these story modes require players to do anything extraneous — but most reviewers agree it can take anywhere from 10 to 20 hours to complete each one.
In a thread on the “Pokémon Scarlet” and “Violet” subreddit, players discussed the length of the game from their time with the leaked version of the title. Almost everyone who had access to the game said it takes 20 to 30 hours to beat, depending on one's playstyle, with completionist run estimates ranging from 60 to over 100 hours.
