Markiplier Gets Real About His ‘Unfathomable’ Wealth

In a recent interview with Anthony Padilla, Markiplier talked about his life, his successful YouTube career, and his immense fortune. Not surprisingly, given Markiplier’s down-to-earth personality, the conversation was truthful, touching, and absolutely hilarious.
When Padilla asked the YouTuber how his financial status changed throughout his life, Markiplier discussed not having much money as a kid and then going into credit card debt as a college student. With the help of his brother, Markiplier was able to get out of debt and get paid through YouTube “Let’s Play” videos.
Markiplier described YouTube as a way to make loads of money and exclaimed, "People just don't understand how much money falls out of the YouTube bucket!" After an entire childhood of struggling financially, Markiplier suddenly found himself with more money than he knew what to do with and said that the amount of money he'd made was "unfathomable."
Although he initially struggled with his newfound wealth, Markiplier told Padilla that he’s comfortable, but that he does give a lot of his wealth to charity. Perhaps most shockingly, Markiplier said he'd love it if he lost everything, not because he'd lose his fortune, but because it would give him an opportunity to have a clean slate and try something new.
