NEW CALL OF DUTY TRAILER HAS EVERYONE QUESTIONING REALITY
By NATHAN SIMMONS
"Call of Duty" fans got the news they'd been waiting for when Infinity Ward officially announced the impending release date of "Modern Warfare 2." However, they were in shock and confusion over its new teaser trailer, wondering whether it was actually a live-action feature or if the new title’s game engine would be able to produce graphics that stacked up to the teaser.
Thankfully for those who were feeling weirded out by the trailer, a lighthearted ad featuring fan favorite streamer TimTheTatman came along shortly thereafter to clear a few things up. Not only does the ad provide some laughs, but it also does away with the overcranked visuals of the trailer and seems to dispel any thoughts of being fully animated.
YouTube comments below the ad mostly rejoiced at the confirmation that Modern Warfare is back to the days of doing live-action trailers. Apparently all it took was seeing a flesh-and-blood streamer that people know and like to bring "Modern Warfare" fans back to reality. Activision promised a full reveal for the game will be arriving on June 8, 2022.
