Everything Included In Fall Guys Season 3: Sunken Secrets

Season 2 of "Fall Guys" is quickly coming to a close and in its place, Season 3 will soon begin. The new season — titled "Sunken Secrets" — will pivot away from the typical "Fall Guys" aesthetic of slime and goo-covered game rounds, replacing it with a new aquatic-themed coat of paint, changing the setting to an ancient city at the bottom of the ocean. While everyone's beloved beans will be returning in traditional form, Season 3 looks to be a fun ride that every longtime fan of the record-breaking battle royale game can enjoy.

"Season 3 – Sunken Secrets" will officially begin on November 22 and will be introducing a boatload of new content. While players can expect to deal with mythical sea creatures and other things synonymous with aquatic life, the influx of new content also includes new elimination rounds, cosmetics, an event, and even collaborations with popular media franchises outside of the contained "Fall Guys" universe. Here's everything that players can enjoy in "Sunken Secrets."

New map, new rounds

The new "Fall Guys" update will see players enter Sunken Secrets, a mysterious underwater city.  And while time might've forgotten this once great city, the elements surely haven't. Sunken Secrets will play host to a new take on the hijinks that "Fall Guys" players are already accustomed to, featuring five new rounds that play into its underwater setting. These new rounds have been announced as Blastlantis, Hoop Chute, Puzzle Path, Kraken Slam, and Speed Slider.

These new challenges all seem fun and will require its competitors to avoid mythical creatures like the Kraken, fight for space atop platforms, slide down massive slime chutes while avoiding other players, and even solve puzzles. All of these new rounds perfectly encapsulate the new aquatic theme that "Fall Guys" is going in with this new season and are sure to be popular among players, both new and old.

These new rounds will make their debut at the start of Season 3 on November 22.

SpongeBob SquarePants gets in on the fun

It wouldn't be a fun underwater adventure without an appearance from everyone's favorite porous friend, SpongeBob SquarePants. The popular sea sponge and many of his "SpongeBob SquarePants" companions will be available in the form of costumes during "Sunken Secrets" that can be earned by players through the Season Pass.

Outside of SpongeBob himself, there will also be costumes for Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, and Squidward. Gary the Snail — SpongeBob's pet — will also be available for players to wear as a hat. "SpongeBob"-centric emotes such as the Bubble Bowl Performance Celebration and Imaginaaation Emote will also be included, as well as similarly themed nameplates, patterns, and nicknames. The "SpongeBob" items will be available beginning on December 1.

According to the language expressed in the official press release for "Season 3 – Sunken Secrets," SpongeBob and Gary will both be obtainable through the Season Pass. SpongeBob's friends, however, will require purchasing in the item shop.

More items and challenges

"SpongeBob SquarePants" won't be the only media franchise making an appearance during Season 3 of "Fall Guys." According to the new season's official blog post, players can also expect there to be collaborations pertaining to "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" and "Ultraman." While it's currently unknown what exactly these collabs will entail, it should be enough for fans of both media properties to at least take a look.

Finally, a new event called "Let's Get Kraken" will also start on November 29. The event will feature two brand new challenges and can be completed by any players participating in the aforementioned new rounds. This event will offer a slew of rewards to anyone who wishes to complete them. Players will be able to earn points and purchase "Sunken Secrets" themed cosmetics, like the Kraken Tentacles Pattern or the Golden Sands Anchor Wearable.
