Kris Tyson Fans Blown Away By New Progress Photos

Kris Tyson has had an eventful year, both in her personal and professional life. The content creator, best known to YouTube subscribers as a part of MrBeast's crew, announced earlier this year that she was undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT). At the time, Tyson was not yet prepared to discuss specifics of her personal journey, but noted that she would be happy going by any pronouns. Fast forward to July, and Kris Tyson has announced a new name and preferred pronouns (she/her) to the world. Since then, Tyson has also kept followers up to date on her progress with HRT, and fans seems to be very happy for her.

On July 30, Tyson tweeted a set of before and after photos, noting that she has been on hormone replacement therapy for six months now.

So far, it seems the positive comments far outweigh the negative ones as fans and fellow content creators express their support for Kris. Benjamin Thomas, a.k.a. TheJavaHacker, tweeted, "Looks like everything is going well for you, and I hope it continues to go smoothly." YouTuber Emily Saxton echoed the positive sentiments by writing, "Such an amazing glow up!! Congrats on 6 months Kris!!" A number of other replies noted that Kris seems to be very happy, and a few even thanked her for inspiring them to be their authentic selves in their own personal lives.

Kris Tyson shares her journey with fans

Kris Tyson officially came out as a transgender woman earlier this month during an interview with Anthony Padilla. Going forward, Tyson will be referred to as "Kris" in public, but has a new name that she has shared with close friends and family. As she explained, she spent a lot of time trying to figure out her gender identity, at one point even identifying as gender-fluid. She also felt a great deal of pressure due to her time in the spotlight as part of MrBeast's channel. However, after a great deal of soul-searching and support from friends, Kris went public with her transition.

Over the last several months, Tyson has expressed that she's grateful for HRT, saying both on Twitter and in her interview with Anthony Padilla that it saved her life. In a post of the same side-by-side images on Instagram, she wrote, "The physical changes aren't the only things that have made me feel so much happier. The ability to get out of bed, ready to start the day, the desire to live my life to fullest again, and just being able to look in the mirror and see the woman I've always known was inside me finally starting to make her way in the world."

Despite keeping many details of her private life private, it seems Tyson truly wanted to share the six-month milestone with fans. Of course, not everyone has been supportive as Kris has come out. Her replies on Twitter are still regularly filled with detractors and rude responses. However, it seems like these aren't doing anything to slow Tyson down, and she and her followers are typically quick to shut the naysayers down and maintain positivity in the comments.
