PSN Is Having A Flash Sale During Its Holiday Sale

Ready to be just the tiniest bit confused? Sony is having another sale on PSN — during the sale that's already active. This particular sale is a shorter, smaller Flash Sale, and we're here to tell you what you should be interested in while the Flash Sale is still live.

For some reason, Sony is categorizing some of the Holiday Sale games in with the Flash Sale games, because this apparently isn't nonsensical enough. You'll find the same Assassin's Creed: Odyssey price there: $35.99. God of War is the same $28. Spider-Man is the same $40.

But hey — now you can grab yourself a copy of the newly launched Just Cause 4, the game that lets you tether two cars to each other and attach balloons to make them fly. That one's available for $48, which is a pretty good discount considering the game is just a few weeks old.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is joining the fun, too. You can get your fill of the Blackout battle royale mode, the traditional Call of Duty multiplayer you know and love, and the always-popular Zombies mode for $44.99.

If you want another military-style shooter that will have a battle royale mode but doesn't yet, Battlefield V is also on sale for $35.99. You can dive in, experience the campaign, play a little multiplayer, and sit tight until the battle royale game type comes to Battlefield in the spring.

Far Cry 5 is getting a huge discount thanks to the flash sale. If you've been meaning to travel to Ubisoft's take on rural Montana and go to war with a cult, there's no better time to pick up the game than right now. It's priced at $23.99, which is a steal for a game that came out in March of this year.

And finally, we have Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. If you're a big fan of the Yakuza series and you've been itching to dive into the latest mainline, non-remake title, here's your chance. It's on sale for $29.99 as part of the Flash Sale, which is half off its normal retail price.

Sony claims that this sale-within-a-sale is only going to last until Dec. 26, so for some of these games, the deals will probably go away. We're uncertain about the games that were already discounted as part of the Holiday Sale, though. If you see something you like here, this could be a better-safe-than-sorry scenario in which you should just get them while they're definitely priced down.

We'll keep an eye on the PlayStation Store over the holidays should more deals pop up.
