What's The Nightclub In The GTA 6 Trailer?

The first trailer for "Grand Theft Auto 6" might just be teasing a familiar nightclub. The first look at "GTA 6" has finally been released by Rockstar Games. On the evening of December 4, the maiden look at the long-gestating "GTA VI" leaked onto the internet. Quick like ninjas, Rockstar Games released the official trailer for millions of fans around the world to dissect. Set in sunny Vice City, the trailer brilliantly captures the essence of "GTA" with fast cars, crime-riddled streets, morally conflicted protagonists... and lots of partying. In the first look, players get brief (but inviting) looks at some of the nightclubs that Vice City has to offer, and they look super familiar.

There are two shots of clubs in the trailer. The first look is at an exotic dancing club, where a banner proclaims that it's "Make It Rain Monday." Dancers are seen gyrating on stage in the dimly lit club as patrons throw cash around. A waitress is also seen bringing a pricy bottle of booze over to a table. This club appears to be the iconic Pole Position Club, which prominently appeared in the 2002 game "Vice City." Located in Ocean Beach, the original Pole Position club could be purchased by playable character Tommy Vercetti. Though it hasn't yet been confirmed to be the same spot, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Pole Position Club return in "GTA 6," as previous entries have regularly repurposed and reused beloved locations. However, that's not the only nightclub that "GTA 6" has to offer party-obsessed players.

Does the GTA VI trailer tease the Malibu Club?

Another iconic location from "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" might be returning in the upcoming entry. Following the look at the bumping gentleman's club, viewers are treated to another look at the city's bustling nightlife. A subsequent shot features a slightly tamer nightclub filled with dancing partygoers. This nightclub even features a DJ mixing up some grooving beats. Fans on social media think it's possible that this nightclub is a contemporary interpretation of the iconic Malibu Club — one of the most exclusive clubs featured in the original "Vice City."

In "Vice City," players could also purchase the Malibu Club, with the nightclub serving as a base for several missions. Another shot in the "GTA 6" trailer teases a rooftop bar, confirming that the parties in Vice City start as soon as the sun is out. While it remains to be seen if the "GTA 6" protagonists are able to purchase exotic dance clubs, nightclubs, or the ever-trendy rooftop bars, it's obvious that nightlife (and partying) is going to play a central theme in the upcoming sixth entry, just like in previous games.
