  • Aahil has interviewed several celebrities, including "Thor: Ragnarok" composer Mark Mothersbaugh, "21 Jump Street" co-director Phil Lord, and more.
  • He has attended the Toronto International Film Festival since 2015.
  • While there are more productive things to do, Aahil makes it a point to rewatch "Uncut Gems" at least thrice a year.

Aahil began his career in entertainment journalism in 2017 when he first started as an intern for Heroic Hollywood. After the initial burst of excitement in seeing his name emboldened on the internet, he began working with several other outlets, including Screen Rant and HotNewHipHop. He later returned to Heroic Hollywood as a part-time staff writer, where he wrote breaking news, his fair share of hot takes, and scripted several YouTube videos. In 2022, he joined Static Media as a news writer for Looper, a gig that lets him gush about how cool "Top Gun: Maverick" is.

Aahil double majored in English and theatre and film studies at McMaster University. His thesis included co-writing and co-directing a production on pandemics and writing a paper on his favorite movie of all time: "Om Shanti Om."
