Completing both the Normal and Prestige mission challenges will award you an assortment of battle stars and experience points, along with a nifty new Back Bling item called the Trophy Sack.

Now, let's get into what those challenges are.

Normal Mission Challenges:

  • Search a chest within 60 seconds after landing from the Battle Bus (3)
  • Land at a Hot Spot in different matches (3)
  • Deal damage within 30 seconds after using a Launch Pad (100)
  • Search 2 chests within 30 seconds of each other (3)
  • Pick up a Legendary item in different matches (2)
  • Search a Supply Drop within 10 seconds of it landing (3)
  • Deal damage to opponents at Hot Spots (200)

Prestige Mission Challenges:

  • Search a chest and an ammo box within 30 seconds after landing from the Battle Bus (3)
  • Destroy Loot Carriers within 60 seconds after landing from the Battle Bus (3)
  • Eliminate an opponent within 30 seconds of using a Launch Pad (1)
  • Search 3 chests within 30 seconds of each other (1)
  • Pick up 3 Legendary items in a single match (3)
  • Collect 100 of each material within 60 seconds after landing from the Battle Bus (100)
  • Eliminate an opponent at a Hot Spot (3)

Most of these are fairly straightforward, but if you've been away for a while, you might be wondering what the heck a "Hot Spot" is. A Hot Spot is a named location on the map that uses gold text instead of white text. It's called a Hot Spot because you'll also find a Loot Carrier waiting nearby, and as a result, there are probably going to be a lot of other players visiting.

As for the other mission challenges, are you going to have to get lucky with a few of them? Yes, but that seems to be pretty par for the course in Fortnite. The stars will have to align for you to both find a Launch Pad and land with an enemy nearby, for instance. And you'll have to race your teammates in order to hit some chests before they do. Otherwise, this week's challenges seem pretty doable.
