The Secret To Getting More Warzone Kills With The Helicopter
"It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground." Obi-Wan Kenobi knew it then, just as many Call of Duty: Warzone players know it now — the high ground is extremely advantageous. In fact, that's why the helicopter is such a sought-after vehicle in Warzone. It can take quickly to the sky, giving you a birds-eye view of the entire map you're playing on. Once you're airborne and looking down on your foes, there are far fewer places for them to hide.
The question is, how do you make the most of this machine? How do you "get to the choppa," if you will, take control, and down as many enemies as possible with it? These are secrets only the most seasoned Call of Duty: Warzone players know. Pretty soon, you'll know them, too.
Below, you'll find a couple of tips on how to turn your time with the helicopter into an absolute Warzone killing spree. These strategies may not help you win every single match, but they could give you a much better shot at outlasting your opponents.
Slice and dice
Sure, the helicopter is great for getting from one place to another — and for getting yourself a top-down view of the map — but have you ever considered using it as a weapon? Those chopper blades can do more than just propel you into the sky, as it turns out.
If you're in close proximity to an enemy, try angling your helicopter toward them. You'll no doubt be surprised to learn that the blades can dice up an enemy faster than a Slap Chop. Who needs guns when you've got a way to instantly shred your opponents without ever taking your hands off the control stick? Once you secure a kill this way, it may be tough to go back to using normal weapons.
This is a high risk, high reward maneuver, however, so keep that in mind. Cutting up enemies in parachutes is relatively safe, but you could just as easily wreck your chopper trying to puree a player on the ground.
Special delivery
Flying a helicopter around the Call of Duty: Warzone map can be a risky endeavor; after all, these vehicles aren't exactly silent, and being airborne means almost everyone has you in view. If you take enough damage, or if you crash to the ground, your helicopter will explode. But what if you used this fact to your advantage? What if you could somehow turn your chopper into a bomb? It is very much possible.
When you have one or more enemies in your sights, start the helicopter in their direction. Get close enough to the ground so that a fall won't kill you, and drop out while leaving the helicopter zipping toward your foes. If you line it up just right, the chopper will hit the ground and explode near your opponents, either knocking them down or killing them outright. And you? If you manage to stay out of the blast zone, you'll have a montage-worthy kill to add to your collection.
