How To Unlock Fall Guys Cosmetics In Halo: The Master Chief Collection

"Fall Guys" is officially available on Xbox and Nintendo Switch as part of its free-to-play relaunch. That means players on any major platform can hop in for some bumbling platforming fun. The relaunch came with a new battle pass, items, and cosmetics. While some fans believe the new battle pass system and currencies can make winning feel less special, gamers have downloaded the game in droves, bringing the player total to 20 million since the free-to-play launch (via ShackNews.)

All of this means new crossover opportunities for "Fall Guys." A new set of missions in the game can earn you cosmetics in both "Rocket League" and "Fortnite." In the spirit of cooperation, "Fall Guys" has also teamed up with Xbox to add a "Fall Guys" item into one of its flagship franchises. Here's how to unlock the "Fall Guys" cosmetic in "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" and make your Spartan look extra cute.

Log into Halo: The Master Chief Collection to get the Fall Guys backpack

According to the official "Halo" account on Twitter, anyone who logs into "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" after June 29 will unlock the "Fall Guys" backpack. There is no official end date for the promotion at the moment, so you likely have plenty of time to pick up the item. The backpack features a blue Spartan shaped like a "Fall Guys" bean saluting. Since this is a "Halo 3" cosmetic item, it will only be equippable for multiplayer matches in that specific game.

On the other end of the spectrum, there are also some "Halo" items currently available in "Fall Guys." You can purchase three skins — Master Chief, Atriox, and a Grunt — in the "Fall Guys" store for a limited time. Considering Epic Games' purchase of Mediatonic and "Fall Guys," this is likely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to future crossovers and collabs with over properties.
