Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course: How To Beat Glumstone

After a few delays and years of waiting, "Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course" has finally released, adding a brand-new isle to the game, along with Ms. Chalice and multiple new bosses. While fans weren't thrilled about waiting longer to play the DLC, the "Cuphead" boss had a surprising view on the delays, prioritizing the studio's health above timeliness. "Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course" will take somewhere between 5 to 6 hours to complete, although personal skill will factor into the run time. Among the new additions to the base game is the challenging Glumstone, a massive giant.

Like many of the bosses in "Cuphead" Glumstone has multiple phases and different attacks, with each one requiring different strategies to get through. While there are always tricks and exploits players can use to defeat bosses in different ways, Glumstone is fairly straightforward, if difficult. Here is how to beat Glumstone in "Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course."

How to beat Glumstone in Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course

According to theRadBrad on YouTube, the first phase of the boss fight will provide you with the opportunity to attack Glumstone directly. During this phase players will need to avoid the gnomes that pop out of the ground, avoid the geese that appear, and move to the far right of the screen when the bear attacks.

Phase 2 turns the boss fight into a puppet show. There are balls bouncing back and forth during this sequence that you will need to jump over and there are more gnomes to avoid. You will need to shoot the puppets to advance to the next part of the boss fight.

Phase 3 has Glumstone swallow the player. Inside Glumstone's mouth you will need to shoot the growths and faces on the roof of his mouth. You will need to constantly jump to avoid falling into stomach acid. There are also more gnomes and drumsticks to avoid flying around the screen. As with every "Cuphead" fight, it will likely take multiple tries to learn the exact patterns of the boss.
