How To Level Up Fast In Soul Hackers 2

"Soul Hackers 2" recycles the "Shin Megami Tensei" formula of reaping most of your experience from turn-based battles. It can get boring quickly for those grinding toward higher levels, but there isn't a secret method to bypass this. The best way to level up fast is to simply keep fighting enemies.

To raise your level, battle every enemy that you come across in dungeons. Beating bosses like Kaburagi counts as part of the process. If you feel you're taking more damage than expected from attacks, keep fighting baddies in the area until you reach a sturdier level. Don't forget to regularly visit the COMP Smith and The Cirque du Goumaden to upgrade your weapons and strengthen your team. Alternatively, take on foes in the Soul Matrix. Visiting different levels of your allies' Matrices to gather valuable demon drops for COMP gear and enjoying the change of scenery can help break up a monotonous process.

Endgame players who feel like they've hit a wall with their leveling can try an alternative tactic: Risky Enemies.

The key to leveling via Risky Enemies

Risky Enemies are the dark purple versions of standard enemies in "Soul Hackers 2." Encountering one typically throws you into a battle with 3 to 4 overleveled demons that can knock you out in a couple of hits if you aren't careful. Thankfully, there are smart ways to challenge them that can raise levels for your team.

As YouTuber FirstPlace explains, Risky Enemies are around 15 levels higher than your strongest character and they get stronger every time you level up by 10. It's most efficient to challenge them right before you reach the threshold that puts them another 10 to 15 levels higher than you, but even that's unpredictable. For example, if you're currently level 38, you want to fight the level 45 demons before they jump to level 55 to 60 when you're at level 40. Also, be sure to exploit type weaknesses.

You don't have to challenge Risky Enemies to progress through the game. As noted earlier, and supported by FirstPlace, this approach is more for players who have reached the final stages of "Soul Hackers 2." If you're stuck at an earlier stage, however, it might be worth the attempt.
