Fortnite: How To Get The Goat Simulator 3 Skin
"Fortnite" players have always had great skin options to choose from, with things like John Cena, Starfire from "Teen Titans," The Predator, and Lara Croft. The collaborations keep coming, and players are now able to play as Pilgor. In case the name doesn't ring a bell, Pilgor is the goat from "Goat Simulator 3," who will make an appearance as the "A Goat" skin in "Fortnite."
"Goat Simulator 3" is the wacky sequel to the 2014 hit "Goat Simulator." According to TechSpot, "Goat Simulator" was actually a joke that got picked up by developer Coffee Stain. Eight years later and it's collaborating with one of the biggest videogames of all time and bringing goats to new worlds: "Fortnite."
While "Goat Simulator 3" doesn't match the aesthetics of "Fortnite," Coffee Stain North Lead Artist Elin Hamberg explained that the "A Goat" skin was made after twisting Pilgor to fit the world the battle royale is set in (via Epic Games). In fact, the reveal trailer from the official Twitter account for "Goat Simulator 3" hilariously showed Pilgor getting in tip-top shape to join "Fortnite."
Luckily, getting the "A Goat" skin is pretty simple.
Pre-order Goat Simulator 3 to get the skin for free
According to the Epic Games Store post regarding the collaboration between "Fortnite" and "Goat Simulator 3," players can get the "A Goat" skin by pre-ordering or buying "Goat Simulator 3" on the Epic Games Store. As long as the game is bought on the same Epic Games Store account that "Fornite" is being played on, the skin will unlock regardless of what console the player plays on. However, anyone wanting to buy "Goat Simulator 3" on consoles won't be able to get the skin for free since the Epic Games Store is only available on PC. The players who do have it seem to love it so far, and some are excited that "Fortnite" is taking more unique looks at the skins in game.
For players that may not want to wreak havoc as a goat, the skin will also be added to the "Fortnite" shop on Nov. 26, 2022. The skin, once unlocked, can be found in the "Fortnite" Locker. "Fortnite" players have until Sept. 29, 2023 to get the "A Goat" skin for free.
