Marvel's Midnight Suns: How To Solve The Standing Stones Puzzle
Part RPG, "Marvel's Midnight Suns" focuses on more than just combat. It also has secrets to uncover and puzzles to solve. While players don't have to take on every secret and puzzle to complete the game, they can serve as intriguing diversions, rewarding those who stick with it and put in the effort to solve them. Among these brainteasers, the Standing Stones puzzle presents one of the longest and most beneficial challenges.
"Marvel's Midnight Suns" players have the opportunity to encounter these strange stones early in the game. They can find them on the right side of the Abbey Grounds map, accessed with the "Open" word of power (per GGRecon). Unlocking the complete mystery behind these stones, however, will require progressing the main story, along with regular trips back to their location. Once players have discovered the stones, the next step will be solving the puzzle surrounding them.
Gain words of power and look for symbol sequences to solve the puzzle
First, players will need to note the stone slab on the platform surrounded by the stones. This slab bears the rune for the "Reveal" word of power. Unlocking "Reveal" in the "Marvel's Midnight Suns" story and then using it on the slab will fire up the stones (per GodisaGeek.com), causing each to display a different strange symbol. From there, you must interact with the stones using the correct sequences, with three different combinations yielding rewards.
Players will find the first solution on the Abbey's Chapel wall. Touching the stones based on the combination displayed there will provide the first payoff from the stones. Further on in the main campaign, players will find themselves in a cottage belonging to Agatha Harkness. Once again, they can spy the answer displayed on a wall. Players should note the symbol order before heading back to the stones to claim their second reward. For the last sequence, players will have to wait until they've unlocked the "Break" word of power and made it to Lilith's Garden. Destroying a magic wall with "Break" will reveal the path to a secret area and the final solution hidden behind another wall that must be destroyed.
Once players know where to look and what to look for in "Marvel's Midnight Suns," there's not much challenge left to the Standing Stones puzzle. Those still struggling can get some visual help on YouTube but, either way, following through will net heroes a nice set of goodies to take on their adventures.
