Everything Added In The Vampire Survivors: Legacy Of The Moonspell DLC

Even amid a year filled with major game releases like "Elden Ring," Horizon: Forbidden West," and "God of War: Ragnarok," there's still plenty of room for indie games to leave their mark. Such is the case with Poncle's "Vampire Survivors." The rogue-lite bullet hell game charges players with surviving an endless onslaught of enemies for as long as possible in order to unlock new characters, items, and stages.

Of course, offering so many challenges with such an addictive gameplay loop has made "Vampire Survivors" a huge success for Poncle. It also looks like the hype train behind the shoot-em-up is just getting into gear because there's even more content coming to the game this month. "Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell" is right around the corner, and it's primed to make this indie hit even more of a must-play title.

Fans of Vampire Survivors will have plenty more to do

"Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell" will arrive soon on Xbox and PC. The DLC will add 4 new characters connected to the mysterious Moonspell Clan: Moonspell survivor Miang Moonspell, Moonspell elder Menya Moonspell, banished dark magic user Syuuto Moonspell, and the revenge-fueled undead creature Babi-Onna.

Poncle is also promising to add its "biggest stage yet" in the form of Mt. Moonspell. The new stage will feature a derelict castle, a vast mountain pass, and a village teeming with demons. Finally, "Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell" will also include 13 new weapons — including the Silver Wind, Four Seasons, Summon Night, and Mirage Robe — for players to find, use, and master.

If How Long To Beat's user aggregate is anything to go off of, the base game already offers a good 30 hours of gameplay for players, not counting things like Endless Mode. This means that at a paltry $2 price tag, "Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell" will almost certainly be worth it for fans of the game to sink their teeth into even more addictive, blood-soaked madness. The new DLC arrives on PC and Xbox on December 15th.
