Where To Find Indeedee In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet

As is always the case with mainline "Pokémon" games, "Pokémon Scarlet" and "Pokémon Violet" will happily reward players for catching 'em all. What makes it tricky are the Pokémon like Indeedee that aren't exactly widespread throughout the world. Filling out one's Pokédex is, of course, optional, but doing so in the ninth generation of Pokémon titles nets players a Shiny Charm that dramatically increases ones chances of finding shiny Pokémon.

So, for those simply seeking completion or aspiring shiny hunters, trickier Poké pals like Indeedee must be found. Thankfully, this dual Normal/Psychic type isn't exclusive to either "Pokémon Scarlet" or "Pokémon Violet," meaning players won't have to hop online to trade for the critter. Players that have simply seen an Indeedee in battle can open their Pokédex to view Indeedee's typical habitats (yet another thing the game doesn't tell players), but there's one spot in the Paldea region where Indeedee are a breeze to find.

Indeedee are easily found in North Province (Area One)

Unlike many of the Pokémon in "Pokémon Scarlet" and "Pokémon Violet," Indeedee can only be found in one specific area of the Paldea region. Investigating one's Pokédex shows that the northeastern portion of the map is where Indeedee choose to congregate, but the best spot to find them within this general area is the North Province (Area One) Pokémon Center.

Once players arrive at this Pokémon Center, Indeedee couldn't be any simpler to find. In fact, this particular Pokémon Center is smack dab in the middle of a grassy area with wild Pokémon spawning all around it. As one will notice very quickly, Indeedee are indeed a common occurrence at this spot. While one must only capture a single Indeedee to have it count for the completion of a Pokédex, completionists will likely want to scout the area to capture both a male and female due to their different appearances.

The hardest part of catching an Indeedee, is getting to this area. It's a spot that's much trickier to access early on in the game when players don't have the ability to climb walls with their Miraidon or Koraidon, so players will likely want to take on the False Dragon Titan in order to unlock wall climbing. This makes entering the area much easier, but players should also keep in mind that Indeedee and other wild Pokémon in North Province (Area One) are near level 50. It may take a bit of playing before players can navigate the area comfortably, but the fact that Indeedee are so common means players can definitely take their time.
