Metro Is Getting Its Own Xbox One X Trilogy Bundle
The release of Metro Exodus is just around the corner, and to celebrate, the game is getting its own Xbox One X bundle. But Exodus isn't the only game included — both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux will be a part of the deal, as well.
According to Polygon, the Metro-focused Xbox One X bundle will release right alongside Metro Exodus when the game drops on Feb. 15. And you won't have to worry about paying anything extra for the package with those three games included. It'll launch at the Xbox One X's normal retail price of $499.99. That, friends, is what we call a good deal.
Metro Exodus has looked positively gorgeous when we've seen trailers of it in action. And much like Red Dead Redemption 2, the Xbox One X will more likely than not be the console that does its visuals justice.
But if you have yet to dive into the Metro series, you're also getting two pretty fantastic games in Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux. IGN scored the remastered Redux two-pack with an 8.6 out of 10, calling the games "fun, diverse shooter adventures" and the package as a whole "a great way to discover (or rediscover) the Moscow Metro's unconventional charms."
We're certainly looking forward to the release of Metro Exodus. In fact, we placed the game on a few of our most recent lists: upcoming first-person shooters that will blow you away, horror games that will blow you away in 2019, and upcoming game sequels you didn't know about. It's worth a look if you like your shooters dark and gritty, and the fact the game is getting its own Xbox One X bundle — at no extra cost on top of the console — is welcome news, indeed.
Metro Exodus is set to release next month on Feb. 15. You can expect the Xbox One X bundle right around the same time.
