THQ Nordic Has Three Game Announcements Coming Over The Next Three Days

E3 doesn't start until next week, but it seems THQ Nordic doesn't give a hoot about that. The company announced today via Twitter that it'll be revealing three new games over the course of the next three days: one on Wednesday, June 5 at 7 a.m. PT; another on Thursday, June 6 at 10 a.m. PT; and the last on Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m. PT.

The reveals will reportedly come by way of the company's Twitter and Facebook channels. And aside from when those reveals will take place, we have absolutely no idea what THQ Nordic plans to show off. The company does own a lot of intellectual properties, though, so why not run through some of them and see where that gets us?

To start, THQ Nordic owns the Darksiders franchise, and there's already an E3 panel dedicated to the future of that series. Could we perhaps get an official reveal of the new Darksiders game? That's a possibility. Red Faction is another property that's been tossed around as a potential direction for THQ Nordic to go in, especially since the company recently released Red Faction: Guerilla Re-Mars-Tered last year. How about a new TimeSplitters title? That's IP is a pretty recent acquisition for THQN, having just been added to the company's roster in 2018. Or what if we get a revival of Kingdoms of Amalur? Could we be so lucky?

There are literally dozens upon dozens of intellectual properties that THQ Nordic has scooped up over the years, with names both big and small. Some are still alive and kicking. Some haven't seen a proper release since the turn of the century. There's a good chance that THQ Nordic could pull one of a hat tomorrow and unveil a new entry, but the company could also just go forward with an original.

Whatever the case may be, we've marked all three announcements on our calendars, and we'll be back with more information as soon as we have it.
