What The Rumored Cast Of GTA 6 Looks Like In Real Life

It's been well over a decade since fans got their hands on a new "Grand Theft Auto" game, and the wait has been agonizing. In late 2025, Rockstar confirmed everyone's worst fears about "GTA 6," delaying its release to November 2026. Impatient gamers have been left to feed on crumbs of information, and some have been trying to uncover things that aren't public knowledge yet, and that includes cracking the game's cast list.

The best "GTA" games all contain fantastic voice performances. Rockstar has occasionally hired mainstream Hollywood stars for its flagship series, but usually the company goes with extremely talented, lesser-known actors for its important characters. It's yet to announce which actors are in the upcoming entry, but dedicated fans have examined the evidence available online and think they've sussed out a handful of the voices behind the characters.

Here at SVG, we've gathered the theories and attempted to sort likely facts from obvious fictions. Let's take a look at what the rumored cast of "Grand Theft Auto 6" looks like in real life.

Manni L. Perez as Lucia Caminos

Many people think Manni L. Perez is the voice of Lucia Caminos (one of the two main characters in "GTA 6"), who gets released from prison at the start of the game. Perez is primarily a TV actor, with her most notable role being that of boxer Esperanza Morales in a 2020 episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." Early images and trailer snippets suggest that Lucia could be an amateur fighter, so it's possible her turn in "Law & Order" impressed Rockstar. According to the company's website, Lucia knows her way around a scrap:

Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk. Life has been coming at her swinging ever since. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out. Lucia's learned her lesson — only smart moves from here. More than anything, Lucia wants the good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City — but instead of half-baked fantasies, Lucia is prepared to take matters into her own hands.

It's impossible to deny that Lucia looks like Perez, who actually has history with "GTA," having done some very minor voice work on the fifth game (she played Clubber #2). Also, she's revealed in interviews that she's been transitioning into motion capture work and that she can't reveal what she's been working on because of NDAs. She would only say that "it's big."

The other bits of supporting evidence are a little thinner, but still worth mentioning: Images of Perez getting in shape in the gym show her wearing a necklace that looks very similar to the boxing glove one worn by Lucia in the game, and in mid-2025 gamers also noticed that Perez had taken down all of her social media accounts, which they interpreted as being related to her role in the upcoming game and the apparent NDA.

Dylan Rourke as Jason Duval

Dylan Rourke has been linked to the role of Jason Duval, the other "Grand Theft Auto 6" protagonist, for a few years now. The rumor mill exploded back in May 2024 when popular video game YouTuber LegacyKillaHD claimed that a "reliable source" had confirmed Rourke was playing Jason. The tweet included a clip from Rourke's 2023 film "Bury the Bride" so fans could hear a sample of his voice. Now that we've had a couple of trailers for the game (including a leaked one that broke the internet), the rumor is starting to look more solid. Rourke's voice in the aforementioned movie clip does sound a lot like Jason, who is ex-military according to the Rockstar website:

Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, he found himself in the Keys doing what he knows best, working for local drug runners. It might be time to try something new. Meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him. Jason knows how he'd like it to turn out but right now, it's hard to tell.

What's more, online super sleuths noticed that Rourke claims on his resume to have motion capture experience even though he currently doesn't have an official motion capture role listed on his IMDb page. They also noticed that his agency stated he had landed a video game role back in 2019, and that suspected Lucia voice actor Manni L. Perez started following Rourke immediately after the first trailer drop before getting rid of her socials. Put all the clues together and it starts to seem likely that Rourke is voicing the leading man in "GTA 6."

Stephen Root as Brian Heder

Because Lucia and Jason are the protagonists of "Grand Theft Auto 6," fans have put most of their efforts into uncovering the actors behind those two characters. However, other "GTA 6" characters have voices so distinctive that fans seemingly figured out the actor pretty much instantly: After the second trailer dropped, many rushed to Reddit to report their theory that Stephen Root is voicing Brian Heder. According to Rockstar's website, Brian looks like a beach bum but is actually a vital cog in Leonida's drug trade:

Brian's a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. Still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, Brian's been around long enough to let others do his dirty work. Brian's letting Jason live rent-free at one of his properties — so long as he helps with local shakedowns, and stops by for Lori's sangria once in a while.

Root has been acting for decades and voice work is definitely in his wheelhouse. He voices multiple characters in "King of the Hill," most notably Bill Dauterive. He's also no stranger to video games, having voiced characters in 1997's "Blade Runner" and 2003's "Finding Nemo." And, although the two wouldn't be mistaken for each other in real life, he does look slightly similar to Brian in the game. We'll have to wait for official confirmation, but, given how similar the voices are, this is another rumor that seems very believable.

Oscar Jaenada as Raul Bautista

We know that Lucia and Jason are going to be a Bonnie and Clyde-esque duo, but as they get deeper into the criminal underworld of Vice City and the jobs they pull get increasingly bigger, it only makes sense that they would need a little help. This is seemingly where Raul Bautista comes in. Judging by Rockstar's website, he's going to help Lucia and Jason hit the big leagues:

Confidence, charm, and cunning — Raul's a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards. Raul's recklessness raises the stakes with every score. Sooner or later, his crew will have to double down or pull their chips from the table.

Many "GTA" fans are convinced that Oscar Jaenada is voicing Raul. The Spanish actor is best known for his turn as zombie outbreak survivor Federico de Rivera in "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" and for playing King Ferdinand's right-hand man in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides." He looks a lot like Raul, but fans aren't assuming Jaenada is in the game because of his appearance alone.

In 2025, Jaenada posted a photo to his Instagram story that showed him wearing a shirt with Raul's face on it. This seemed to all but confirm that he's voicing the character, but the fact that Rockstar is very strict with its NDAs when it comes to casting sheds some doubt on this rumor. Did Jaenada slip up and reveal too much, or was he just playing with us? Only time will tell.

Reggie Talley as Dre'Quan

Fans are convinced that the character Dre'Quan Priest is being voiced by Reggie Talley, an actor who has primarily done guest roles in various TV shows. He's best known for playing Abraham Drew in the "Power" spin-off "Raising Kanan," narrated and produced by 50 Cent. Rockstar's website confirms that Dre'Quan is an up-and-coming music producer who just signed Real Dimez — the stage name of the rapper-influencer duo Bae-Luxe and Roxy — to his label Only Raw Records:

Dre'Quan was always more of a hustler than a gangster. Even when he was dealing on the streets to make ends meet, breaking into music was the goal. Now that he's signed the Real Dimez, Dre'Quan's days of booking acts into Boobie's strip club might be numbered as he sets his sights on the Vice City scene.

In 2023, fans noticed that Talley had listed an upcoming Rockstar game on his CV that was going under the codename "Fireball." The basketball team Miami Heat has a flaming ball as its logo, and Vice City is famously Rockstar's stand-in for Miami. "Such a reference would be typical of Rockstar," the fan site Liberty City noted. "The company has also given codenames to its past projects." Notably, Talley removed "Fireball" from his resume when it started causing a stir among "GTA" fans.
