Mizkif Breaks His Silence On Ongoing OTK Investigation

Last month the Twitch drama just kept coming. It all began when viewers discovered that Twitch streamer Slicker, fueled by a gambling addiction, allegedly scammed his viewers and fellow streamers out of an exorbitant amount of money. The publicity and backlash of Slicker's controversial actions inspired a handful of top content creators to stand up to gambling on the platform, which forced Twitch to respond with big changes to its gambling policy soon after — but that wasn't all.

Following a feud between Trainwrecks and Mizkif about gambling on the platform, Trainwrecks revealed that Mizkif allegedly attempted to cover up sexual assault allegations made by Adrianah Lee in July of last year against Mizkif's longtime friend, Crazyslick. In addition, around the same time, banned streamer Iceposeidon leaked DMs of Mizkif using racist and homophobic slurs. All of this, of course, wasn't a good look for Mizkif's gaming organization, One True King (OTK).

In the aftermath, Mizkif broke his silence and announced that Crazyslick was asked to vacate the OTK house and stated that a third party would be contracted to investigate the situation. In the meantime, Mizkif announced that he would take a leave of absence from both streaming and his organizational duties at OTK. But now Mizkif is finally back with an update on the matter.

Mizkif has been advised not to talk about it

On October 10, Mizkif returned via a now-deleted stream on Twitch. But Mizkif didn't begin the stream by discussing the elephant in the room. Instead, Mizkif watched multiple satirical sexual harassment videos on stream while remaining silent on his current situation. This move was met with immediate backlash from some, with political commentator Hasan believing that it supported the narrative that Mizkif underplayed the severity of the allegations. However, later in the stream, Mizkif explained the real reason he was not talking about the situation.

In response to an influx of viewers waiting to hear about the investigation's findings, Mizkif said, "I absolutely would love to talk about this stuff, I really would, but as I said this isn't Twitch drama." The streamer explained, "There is a law firm that is investigating the situation ... I am extremely advised to not talk about it."

Mizkif later confirmed that he is still on an indefinite absence from OTK and will remain so until after the investigation is finished.
