Experience
From his days playing Pokémon Red at five years old with absolutely no clue what he was doing, John has grown up with games. Fast-forward a decade later, and he began writing news and feature pieces for his high school paper. He has written since then for his hometown newspaper, the Massachusetts Daily Collegian, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Exchange, an academic journal. Post-college, he finally came full circle to writing about his life-long love of games with a stint as a freelance writer at Screen Rant. These experiences helped him learn to adapt his writing to new styles and subject matters. In his spare time, John also produces a podcast for his father ("Everything Thought Leadership") and assists in marketing his book.
Education
John graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Certificate of Film Studies, both of which helped him hone his rhythm and flow for storytelling.
